Improving Your Public Speaking and Reading Skills
Wish you were a more confident and charismatic public speaker? This interactive program will help you discover your public speaking foibles and learn techniques for improving your on-stage presence. Some participants will have a chance to get on-the-spot feedback, so bring something to read or present.
When Yolanda LeRoy, Editorial Director at Charlesbridge Publishing, isn't editing books, she enjoys acting in community and professional theatrical productions. Her on-stage experience has taught her tricks that she'll share with the group.
Schedule:
10:00-10:30: Registration and Networking
10:30-12:00: Presentation and Group Discussion
12:00-1:00: Lunch and Networking

Take I-495 to Exit 28. Turn left onto Route 111. After about 3.5 miles, turn left onto Route 27/Main St. The Town Hall is across the street from the town green.
From the north:
Take I-495 to Exit 28. Turn right onto Route 111. After about 4 miles, turn left onto Route 27/Main St. The Town Hall is across the street from the town green.
From the east:
Take Route 2 to Exit 42. Turn right onto Route 27/Main St. The Town Hall is across the street from the town green.
