Barbara O'Connor writes books for children in grades 3 to 6. Her books have won many awards and distinctions, including the Parents Choice Award, the Massachusetts Book Award and over 20 state children's book award nominations.

Barbara offers a basic one-day program, as well as writing workshops.
She focuses on writing techniques, tools of the trade, and how writers get ideas. Her programs reinforce MCAS preparedness and the Six Traits of Writing.
