I am a published children's book author and a former elementary school teacher (still certified). I do author visits for schools in NE K-6. I am also an advisor for Lesley University's MFA program and a teacher and consultant to Boston's Grub Street writing community.

Programs begin at $700 per half day program.

Special Features:
For younger grades, I will host a pajama party interactive reading of Noises at Night where students can wear slippers to school or p.j.s and bring in a teddy bear (related to Noises at Night story).
When Blue Ribbon Dad comes out (2011), we will do blue ribbon art project to follow.
For older grades I will do a presentation on how to take a story from inspiration to publication. I will lead various writing exercises according to the needs and scope and sequence of the school and grades I visit.
