Suzanne Cordatos grew up in the Midwest but makes her home in eastern Connectict. She has had a non-fiction story about children in Greece and a poem about ideas accepted for publication at Highlights Magazine. Her middle grade mystery novel manuscript placed as a finalist in a contest of Blooming Tree Press and is now seeking a publisher for it.

Program Descriptions:
I share the "Ideas" poem with students on a powerpoint presentation and talk about the creative writing process and publishing options for kids, then ask the kids to write their own verses of how they get great ideas.
For Social Studies classes, I can share about ancient and modern Greece, powerpoint presentation and art/mosaics.
Program Pricing:
$75 for a class period; price is negotiable depending on distance and number of class sessions in a day.
Special Features:
Student interaction, such as writing, making mosaics, making students expert critiquers, and powerpoints on creative writing and ancient Greek history.
