Short Bio: Pegi has published more than 350 articles, poems and books for readers of all ages, and has presented at just as many schools, libraries, conferences across the country.
She's been teaching writing at the college level since 1996, and also teaches children's literature at UCONN.

Program Info

Program Descriptions: Multi-media presentation of writing process for one age-appropriate book that teachers select in advance. Process includes research, drafting, revising after rejections! Some shows have dramatic enactments in costumes. Q&A. I also give writing workshops to students of all ages.
Program Pricing: $250 (1 presentation)
$750/half day (2 presentations)
$1000/whole day (3.5 presentations)
+ expenses for presentations more than 50 miles from Vernon, CT
Special Features: Most of my books work across the curriculum, are multicultural, and social-studies related. I have cultural artifacts from many countries and my travels.
