Short Bio: John Steven Gurney has illustrated over 120 books for children, including Scholastic's 'The Bailey School Kids' series and Random House's 'The A to Z Mysteries" series. He is the author and illustrator of "Dinosaur Train" published by Harper Collins. He has been visiting schools and sharing his process with students of all ages, pre-K to High School, although first through fifth grade students are his primary audiences.
John lives in Vermont with his wife Kathie, and his two children.

Program Info

Program Descriptions: John’s Powerpoint presentation is very informative
and quite funny. John adapts it for audiences from Kindergarten on up.
Workshops also can be taught in various cartooning activities..
Program Pricing: $875 for a full day, as many presentations as you can squeeze into a school day.
Special Features: John closes each session with cartoon demostrations and by drawing a caricature of someone from the audience.
