Testing the Blog
Wouldn't it be embarrassing to redesign a website using blog software and then not have the blog work or look right? So here's a test entry for me to look at. I'll probably end up deleting it when we're ready for the real stuff, but you never know.
It may stick around for a while.
People may think it has historical value, being the first post on the new blog and all. And if the new website is successful beyond our wildest dreams, this post here might be enshrined in glory, carved into stone tablets, and tattooed onto the bodies of those who follow in our blogging footsteps. So for their sakes, I probably shouldn't make it too long.
Now I'm going to cut to an extended entry to see what that looks like.
Here's the extended entry. The main purpose of doing this is to tease the interested reader into turning the page while allowing the bored reader to move on with his or her life. Although in this case, I don't actually have much more to say.
