Rick Riordan library event open to the public

The Massachusetts Library Association has just opened the following event to adults outside the library community, and it may be of interest to SCBWIers...

Rick Riordan: Mythology and Magic in the Classroom

Rick Riordan will discuss how his years as a teacher, his love of mythology, and his son's struggles with learning differences combined to form the #1 New York Times bestselling Percy Jackson & the Olympians series.

Rick is also the author of The 39 Clues: The Maze of Bones, another #1 New York Times bestseller. He lives in San Antonio with his wife and two sons, and is a full-time writer.

Q & A and Book signing to follow. Books are available for pre-purchase, and a limited number will be available at the event. Signing of outside books is limited to one per person.

This program is for ADULTS only. Your registration confirmation serves as your ticket to the program. Children will not be allowed into the program.

Tickets are $35 and include continental breakfast, program, and book signing.
